Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Lake Brienz ("we") operates lakebrienz.com. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Contact form messages: if you write to us, we receive the name, email address and message you enter. Messages are stored for up to 90 days and used only to reply. We keep a short-lived record of the sending IP address to block spam.
- Optional usage measurement: If you choose Accept, first-party offer measurement can retain the campaign information in the current browser session. The first-party /api/click beacon stays off before acceptance and when Global Privacy Control is enabled. It records the offer and originating page without a visitor identifier. Use Cookie choices in the footer to withdraw consent.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and measures loading performance. Cloudflare adds static.cloudflareinsights.com/beacon.min.js at the edge; this cookieless beacon records page URLs, referrers, browser and timing information, without assigning a visitor identifier. This runs separately from optional offer measurement.
Hosting
Cloudflare Workers hosts this guide. Standard request logs may include IP addresses and other connection information used to deliver pages and protect the service.
